Tech Rider

A document listing a performer's technical requirements — equipment, staging, power, and sound needs — for event organizers.

A tech rider is sent to venues and event organizers before a performance. It specifies everything the artist needs technically: microphones (types and quantities), DI boxes, monitor mixes, backline equipment, stage plot (where everyone stands), power requirements, and lighting preferences.

Professional artists have detailed tech riders. This prevents the day-of scramble for missing equipment and ensures the sound engineer can prepare in advance.

If you're hiring performers on SpatialGig for events, requesting their tech rider early saves time, money, and stress.
